![]() In his audition video before he participated in Danganronpa, he said that he wanted to murder, earning the honor and money after winning the game so that he would no longer have to worry about what was impossible.ĭuring his high school days, Kaito attended Dodonpachi Commercial High (怒首領蜂商業高校). History Early Life Before Joining DanganronpaĪccording to Tsumugi Shirogane, Kaito Momota was a normal talentless high school boy who adored a famous reality show called Danganronpa, a series which tells the story about Killing Games, created by Team Danganronpa. ![]() 1.2.14 The Fourth Investigation and Trial.1.2.8 The Second Investigation and Class Trial.1.2.6 Exploring the Rest of the Academy.1.2.2 Attempting the Death Road of Despair. It's definitely not worth $60 compared to the others (especially with the super bad port job). At times they're literally reciting Tv Tropes entries ("Death is cheap trope").Īll in all it's still worth playing if you're a series fan but I've found it to be the weakest so far. Breaking the 4th wall can work when it's used sparingly, but they do it a dozen times whenever the bears show up. I think it's because it seems like this game was written by people who do nothing but browse TV Tropes all day. IS ALL THAT REMAINS OF A ONCE blah blah blahĤth wall breaking- One review said this seems more like Danganronpa fan fiction than a real Danganronpa game. It sounds like a grating 10 second loop of an electronic pop version of "I'm Too Sexy" and I want to punch the screen to get it to stop. I have to alt+tab out and mute the sound (because that's faster than putting up with input lag to go the menu and mute music) whenever the Monokubs show up and "Rise & Shine, Ursine" starts playing. Music- Oh my lord this is by far the worst sound track of the series. Here I'm playing a half ditz, half sort of leader, girl who hits on other girls just to make them uncomfortable, obsessed music geek? It doesn't quite work when you're not playing the least strange character. ![]() Protagonist- They had you be a blank slate everyman in the previous games for a reason: it just works in stories where you're thrown into a strange evironment. Input lag- Every button press has a 33% chance to register, 33% to not register, 33% to register multiple times, and a 1% chance to crash the game. Playing 3, so far it's "This isn't as good as 2, but I guess it's a Danganronpa game and I'll keep playing." When I played 2, it was "This isn't as good as 1, but it's still decent and worth playing." I've found the games getting progressively less good. Really unnecessary and I'm pretty sure the ONLY reason it's actually there is to hide Hidden Monokumas in class trials. Remember those parts of the trial where you have to pick between three or four options? Well, that's what this is, but with a stupid block-clearing mini game getting in the way. Mind Mine is, without a doubt, the worst new mini game they added. but I found it to be waaaaaay to precise and got a lot more misses than I felt I should have. but now it's made more annoying because instead of being a circle spinning and you have to hit the button as it goes over the beat to lock onto statements and break them, you're just hitting random buttons to a beat. It's definitely a lot better than (Improved) Hangman's Gambit, but I still prefer the first game's Hangman's Gambit overall.Īrgument Armament is basically BTA/PTA from the first two games. Feels rather unnecessary as Logic Dive felt fine from the first game. but you have to figure out what it is that you're questioning. Psyche Taxi is basically Logic Dive from the first game. ![]() And the way they implement it via having your fellow classmates have their own Truth Bullets to counter the other opponent's statements is awesome. The idea of the class's opinion being split and requiring both sides to debate it out is a neat concept. I didn't find any of the optional ones, myself, but the idea of lying in order to find the truth is a neat concept.ĭebate Scrum is, without a doubt, the best new mini game they added. It's required in some parts, but it's optional in others. ![]() There are times where someone will be talking loudly in another Nonstop Debate and you have to silence their statement in order to interact with the others, so it takes a lot more concentration than normal. Essentially, three separate Nonstop Debates will be occuring at the same time and you have to find the correct weakpoint in one of them. Mass Panic Nonstop Debate is a very cool inclusion to the gameplay. While everyone's talking about the story, I'll make mention of the gameplay. ![]()
